The "Write a Poem Like Rod McKuen Contest" |
It's really pretty simple. 1. Write a short poem in the style of Rod McKuen. You can choose any subject (cats, the sea, your significant other, whatever!). 2. Send it to us via email at scottandray@poetheads.com. 3. Sit back and wait to win! The winner gets a Poets and Troubadours polo shirt. Here are a few things you need to know: 1. The judges will be Ray White and Scott White, your Poets and Troubadours hosts. Their decision is final. 2. No member of the Poets and Troubadours staff and no family member is eligible to win. 3. Keep it clean. No need for vulgar language or descriptions. 4. Keep it fairly short. The Rime of The Ancient Mariner has been done! That's it. Get to writing...and good luck! |
